About Dom

Hello,

Firstly welcome to my website. I have been trying for a long time to get it up and running.

More about me… I started my photography career when I was fairly young. I was given a little point and shoot camera as a present. Then my brother bought his first DSLR, so as the younger brother I had to have one as well. Spending my money on a camera was one of the biggest purchases of my life. Mind you I was about 15 at the time.

For a while at school I was the designated rugby photographer. Simply because I was the only one who wanted to do photography and it was the only thing I could get ‘hands on’ with. This ignited my love for fast paced action.

My university degree was in “Wildlife and media” as I have always been keen and interested in wildlife. So I paired the two. Sports took a back seat. While still at uni I was able to secure my first job as a photographer.

Once that was all done with I was then unsure of what I wanted to do. I started looking for jobs around my local town, becoming a night club photographer and a car photographer. These were good for me as I was able to really start to explore my own personal interests.

Trying to find what you love to do is always one of the most difficult things any person tries to do in their life. I have been lucky in having opportunities. I met a guy who was looking for a photographer. And thats how I ended up photographing cars.

Sports was a bit the same. I met a friend of mine who used to be into Mountain biking and his friend. I then asked to take photos of him biking. There we go again he was up for it and I just started shooting more and more.
